The data proposed by Mapmedia are issued by research
office IFREMER and the French hydrographic office SHOM.
They are precisely georeferenced and adapted to the seamless
format of Maxsea software.
The sediment charts can be completed with data coming
from ground discrimination systems. In real time display,
data saving and overlay on top of the mapmedia sediment
chart. The track data and the sediment chart are perfect
complement to each other.

| SHIPWRECK
CHARTS |
| Recorded using the WGS 84 geodesic
system, Mapmedia proposes an inventory of positions (longitude
and latitude) of 4,000 wrecks and 800 underwater obstructions.
This data base also contains the name, the depth and the
nature of surrounding seabed, the depth of highest point,
the charactheristics of the wreck and those of the vessel
before is sank, as well as the date and circumstances of
the sinking.
